Foreplay

This work was bought by someone who came to one of my shows. It now lives in Los Angeles. The idea is that each skateboard has a play, rewind, stop or fast-foward button. It is a message on how attractive I think the culture of skateboarding is. When you look at people skating you are mesmerized by the skill or the guts to go out there and even try your luck on a skateboard. While you are watching you are engaging on the fore play of it all without even knowing it. This piece is made with dichroic glass, fused glass and a bit of smalti glass
